What is hair transplantation?

Hair transplantation is a safe, effective procedure. Hairs from a donor region at the back of the head are extracted and transplanted to areas where the hair has thinned or disappeared, typically the top and sides of the head.

Once the transplanted hairs take root, the follicles produce healthy hairs that grow naturally over time. Results are permanent, and the outcome looks natural.

There are no incisions, no anesthesia, and next to no downtime. You may shed some hairs in the first month, but that's part of the natural hair growth cycle. Over time, your hairline regenerates.

What are PRP injections for hair loss?

If your hair is thinning but you don't yet need a full transplant, PRP injections may be an option. PRP, or platelet-rich plasma, contains growth factors that help reactivate dormant hair follicles.

PRP injections are an alternative to oral medications, topical creams, and surgical follicular unit transplantation. The procedure takes less than 20 minutes. Plan on at least three treatments spaced about 14 days apart. Renewed hair growth is most apparent after about 3 months.

What is NeoGraft?

NeoGraft follicular unit extraction is an automated method for extracting healthy hair from a donor area. The process is precise. Unlike manual FUE, it leaves no linear scars across the back of the head and requires no stitches or sutures.

Groups of up to four hairs are harvested from the donor area and transplanted into regions where new growth is desired. The NeoGraft device selects only the strongest, most viable hairs for grafting.

NeoGraft

What are the benefits of hair restoration with NeoGraft?

  • Minimally invasive
  • Safe and effective
  • Fewer complications than with other hair transplant methods
  • Local anesthetic only
  • Minimal discomfort
  • No linear scarring
  • Quick recovery
  • Helps restore hair growth
  • Enhances self-image

Who makes an ideal candidate?

The best candidates for NeoGraft still have some of their hair and are typically over 20, the age by which a hair loss pattern is well established. Those who are completely bald don't qualify.

In general, a good NeoGraft candidate has the following:

  • They are healthy, both physically and mentally
  • They have donor hair that is thick and course
  • They are realistic in their expectations for their results

The Procedure

How is NeoGraft performed?

  • STEP ONE: Donor hairs are extracted from the back of the head, an area usually untouched by balding. The NeoGraft device selects the highest quality follicles. A skilled practitioner performs the procedure with your intended result in mind.
  • STEP TWO: Recipient sites are created from the coordinates in your treatment plan. Their direction, orientation, and angle are set carefully for a natural-looking result.
  • STEP THREE: The follicles are grafted by size and best location. Each graft is placed where it will support natural hair regeneration.

Our Surgeons

What can I expect after my NeoGraft treatment?

Most NeoGraft patients return to their normal schedules within a few days, and some go back to work the next day, depending on comfort. Within 7-10 days, the transplanted follicles are firmly rooted in your scalp and your donor areas look as they did before treatment. Recovery is usually uneventful.
