How It Works
How Ultherapy Works
Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy to lift and tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production deep within the tissue, without any incision. The tightening effect is clinically significant and keeps improving over two to three months. The energy bypasses the outer layer of skin and works on any skin type, with no added risk to darker skin.
The procedure is straightforward. It takes 30 to 90 minutes depending on the treatment area. You'll feel the ultrasound energy as a warm sensation. Ultrasound visualization pinpoints exactly where to place the energy, which minimizes discomfort.

Recovery
Ultherapy Recovery
A main advantage of Ultherapy over surgical facial rejuvenation is little to no recovery time. You'll likely have some initial redness and mild swelling. In rare cases there is temporary bruising or numbness, but these resolve within a few days.
