What Can a Cheek Lift Do for Me?
A regular facelift will not address these issues properly. Although the cheeks may appear to look better immediately following a facelift, within a few months, they will have returned to their pre-procedure position. A facelift is primarily performed to improve the lower cheek, jawline and neck.

Non Surgical Thread Lift in NYC

Subperiosteal Cheek Lift
A conservative incision is placed just inside the temporal hairline to prevent visible scarring on the face. Using endoscopic cameras and tools, we raise the facial tissues and lift the cheeks to a more youthful position. This procedure is ideal for lightening the bags that form above the cheekbones and below the eyes. The surgery usually takes about 2 hours and can be performed as either an inpatient or outpatient surgery.
The risks common to most cosmetic surgeries apply here too. Rare complications of the cheek lift include blood clots, hematoma or seroma that can result in scarring, skin surface issues such as hair loss at incision sites, facial numbness, and skin discolorations.
Some side effects are temporary. A numb sensation in the upper lip can make it hard to drink from a glass for a time, but it goes away. Slight bruising or swelling around the eyes can be managed like any swelling, by keeping the head above the heart while lying down and applying a cold compress.
One of the most commonly reported after-effects is slight pain in the cheekbone area. Like the other side effects, it subsides in time.

Thread Lift/Percutaneous Cheek Lift
A tiny incision is made inside the hairline, and two small incisions in the nasolabial fold. By passing stitches through them, the surgeon grips the excess cheek tissue and raises it to a more youthful position. This procedure is ideal for heavy cheeks that worsen the nasolabial folds.
Swelling from a thread lift or percutaneous cheek lift typically lasts one week. Swelling from the subperiosteal cheek lift can last up to two weeks. Normal activity resumes after one to two weeks. The incisions are placed to hide any scarring, so you simply appear refreshed.
A cheek lift or threalift can be combined with other procedures in one of our private surgical centers in New York City. Will a Cheek Lift or Fillers Improve Eye Hollows?
Fat injection is excellent for hollowing around the eyes. It is very simple to go through under local anesthesia and can be very long lasting. Surgery is often performed in combination with fat injection. A cheek lift can lift the cheek tissues which can also improve the appearance of hollowing and usually works great in combination with fat injection.
